At present, 10,000 brown bins for food and gardenwaste are collected in towns and villages across theOmagh district, and a brown bin collection service is currently being introduced for 11,000 households in Enniskillen, Lisnaskea and Irvinestown, so that residents in these urban areas receive a similar service. Supported by an award of £570,000 fromRethink Waste Capital Grant Funding, a separate foodwaste collection service is being introduced to 10,000 households in rural areas on a pilot basis.
